What’s Happening

When you use Google services, your data can be shared during real-time bidding (RTB) — a behind-the-scenes process where advertisers compete to show you ads in milliseconds.

 

As part of a court-approved settlement, Google now offers a setting that lets you limit the amount of detailed information shared in these auctions.
